Testimonials

“I appreciate the opportunity to work with you.  You have been a pleasure and a gentleman during the whole process.  Although, there were times things didn’t look so good for this project, your determination helped get us through.  As representatives of the Estate, we are happy to have this deal done.  I think we got a good price for the property, and it gets to stay “in the family”.  Your patience and professional approach to all aspects of this sale is what all real estate customers should look forward to. Therefore, our profound thanks and appreciations are to Bill PatrickIts been a pleasure.Estate of Ms Ulmer “My family had 40 acres of timber property in Brandon for three generation. We contacted Bill Patrick for help with the sale. Bill worked closely with our family members (two estates and 4 adult children) along with our attorneys as we opened estates and got all chains of title corrected. The estate help was only one of the many, many headaches and hurdles Bill jumped through with us. There were issues with easements, more generations and court drama from the adjacent property owners, many extensions to contracts and price offers to work out to get the property sold. To say Bill worked hard for this sale would be an understatement. Bill Patrick was an excellent choice for us as selling agent. He conducted himself in a professional manner and became a friend during the year long process. After the closing in Brandon, which I attended, Bill and I discovered we had many childhood friends in common. I knew his Dad and also had great respect for him. I have made a friend in Bill. It was a pleasure doing business with Bill. I will not hesitate to recommend him in real estate matters, and will call on him if needed for future transactions.” Merrill M. “I can’t recommend Anthony Steen enough. Anthony’s expertise and guidance made the entire process smooth and far less stressful than I expected. He was always available to answer my questions and help navigate me through the all the steps. His attention to detail and deep understanding of the local market gave me confidence throughout the journey. If you’re looking for a real estate agent who truly cares Anthony Steen is the one to call.” Blake C. “I couldn't have done it without him. He had obstacles everywhere but with his experience and professionalism he handled it calmly and respectfully, also just to say the Sellers agent also commented on how well he did with purchase of Cabin.. I've enjoyed working with him and hopefully will again when another cabin comes available and if I know anyone looking for land or house, he will be the first as a referral. Also, for him to take me on as a client where he had to drive 2 hrs. each way, I'm very thankful. If he was registered in Alabama, he'd be the one I call on to sell my house here when I do.. Again, he's a great guy and was excited just as I was with the cabin I chose, and I look forward to him visiting to do some fishing in lake in back yard..” Steve F.

When my wife and I decided that we wanted to put some funds into non-paper assets, we decided on timber land. We contacted Tom Smith and met with him one evening. We knew nothing about this kind of investment and Tom patiently explained the ins and outs and how this sort of thing worked. We discussed our desires and Tom translated those into a specific type of property that we should be looking for, considering our budget. Because of our ages, we needed to find something that would be harvestable in a relatively short time. One thing you find out pretty quickly is that someone is willing to sell you a piece of timberland every hour of every day. If an agent or even an acquaintance finds out that you want timber, they will have something for you to go look at the next day. People kept asking me why I had not bought anything yet. They seemed to think it was like buying a car. You just go pick out what you want. Tom weeded out properties that did not fit our goals. We kissed a lot of frogs as we looked at different properties. They looked better on paper than they did in person. Eventually we found exactly the right piece at exactly the right price. There were a number of unforeseen difficulties in closing the deal, but Tom was right there every step of the way during the negotiating process and, with his help, we closed on the perfect investment. We could not be happier. The next time we want to buy or sell some property, Tom will be our man.
