He is also a recipient of the APEX Award, recognizing him among the top-performing land brokers in America. His specialties include recreational tracts, timberland investment, commercial properties, and 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges.

An avid outdoorsman, Tom enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, and golf in his free time. He and his wife of 29 years, Ellen, make their home in Lake Caroline (Madison), Mississippi, and are proud parents of two daughters—one residing in Lakeland, Tennessee, and the other in Charleston, South Carolina.

Walker was drawn to Tom Smith Land and Homes due to his love of the outdoors. Walker grew up in Starkville and has always lived in Sturgis, Mississippi. Walker has always enjoyed hunting and fishing since the day his father introduced him to the outdoors. Walker attended Starkville Academy and graduated in 2019. Walker also graduated from Mississippi State University in 2022, where he majored in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. Walker has worked for a private contractor building homes which piqued his interest in the real estate business. Walker currently lives in Oktibbeha County, where he continues his passion for hunting, fishing, and small building projects.
