He graduated from North Sunflower Academy and went on to attend Mississippi Delta Community College, where he was a member of the football team. Bruce later earned a degree in Agronomy from Mississippi State University.
He and his wife, Gwendolyn, have lived in Hollandale, Mississippi, for over 40 years. They are proud parents of two children and grandparents to five wonderful grandchildren. Both are active members of the Hollandale United Methodist Church.
Bruce has spent the majority of his career in retail agriculture, serving as a sales agronomist and in various managerial roles. He is a Certified Crop Advisor, recognized by the American Society of Agronomy, and previously served as president of the organization’s Mississippi chapter. He also holds a Mississippi Consultant License in three categories.
In 2024, Bruce earned the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation from the Realtor Land Institute. Leslie was born and raised in Benoit, Mississippi. He graduated in 1995 from St. Joseph High School in Greenville, Mississippi. He then furthered his education at Mississippi State University obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy.
Leslie started his professional career at Farmer’s National Company. He was a licensed real estate agent in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. He then went to work as a Senior Acquisitions Director and Farm Manager for AgCoA. Within his time at AgCoA, he sourced and managed over 50,000 acres in the Mid-South valued at 350 million dollars. Upon the sale of AgCoA to the Bill Gates Foundation, he then went to work for Sower Farmland as a Senior Acquisitions Director and was able to source over 165 million dollars of investment grade farmland for its investors.
Leslie currently resides in Senatobia, Mississippi with his wife Searcy and their four children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends enjoying the outdoors. Growing up an avid hunter and fisherman, his biggest interest now is hunting, fishing, and playing golf with his children.
Leslie learned the meaning of hard work growing up as a grandson of a Mid-South Ag Pilot, where he spent most of his summers which lead to his current overall work ethic.
