Bill Patrick

Bill was born and raised on a farm in Scott County, Mississippi. His family farm had cotton, soy beans, cattle and hogs. It was there on his family‘s farm that he gained knowledge and respect for the land that God provided. During his high school years, Bill’s understanding and love of the farm grew as he began showing cattle and hogs at local livestock shows. After high school, he graduated from Mississippi State University and spent many years as a CPA. During this time as a CPA, Bill’s heart remained on the outdoors, so, in 1999, Bill began a lawn service business. Several years ago he became a Realtor with Tom Smith Land and Homes where he works with buyers and sellers, always seeking to turn them in to satisfied clients. Bill resides in Brandon with his wife, Ardith, where he enjoys hunting, fishing and just simply being outdoors. His love of the outdoors, combined with his reputation of honesty, integrity and hard work, is what qualifies Bill to be able to help you with all of your real estate needs. Give Bill a call when you are ready to buy or sell, he will be there to help every step of the way!

Sam Sample is a resident of Holmes County, Mississippi, where he works as a Realtor and serves as one of the Tom Smith Land and Homes land specialists. Having lived on his family’s farm in the area for 40 years, Sam has a deep connection to the community and the land. He attended both public and private schools in Holmes County, as well as Junior College, where he met his wife. Together, they returned to Sam’s family farm to make their home.

Despite the economic challenges that some may see in Holmes County, Sam has never considered moving his family away. He feels a strong attraction to the area’s remoteness and lack of mainstream influence. With over 23 years of experience working for an electric power association in several counties, including Holmes, Humphries, Yazoo, Warren, Sharkey, and Issaquena, Sam has a unique perspective on the region.

In 2002, Sam became an insurance associate, which has allowed him to pursue his passion for land management and agriculture. He is the owner-operator of a family farm that produces cattle, timber, and hay, and also offers recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, and hiking. With this diverse experience, Sam believes he is uniquely qualified to help clients buy or sell residential, recreational, or agricultural land.
