Brady Richardson

Brady was born and raised in Starkville, Mississippi. After high school he graduated from Mississippi State University in 2022 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Insurance with focuses in Real Estate and Finance. Brady developed a love for the outdoors at a young age after seeing his father’s passion for hunting and fishing. His desire to be in the outdoors is what has drawn him to Tom Smith Land and Homes. Brady currently lives in Madison, Mississippi where he continues his passion for hunting and fishing. Mike Odom

Mike is a lifelong resident of Madison County where he was born and raised in Flora, Mississippi and attended Tri-County Academy. After graduation, he attended Mississippi State University where he studied Animal Science. He later attended and graduated from Belhaven College with a bachelor’s degree in business. Mike’s sales career began in the construction equipment industry with Ditch Witch, selling trenching and underground equipment. He then spent the better part of 25 years in the construction and agricultural industries where he worked as a territory manager, regional manager, sales manager, and location manager with major equipment manufacturers such as Atlas Copco, John Deere, and Caterpillar. During this time, Mike learned the importance of customer care and always putting the customer first.

After many years on the road, Mike had a strong desire to find a career that would allow him to enjoy more time at home with his family and would better fit his active lifestyle. Mike’s love for land developed at an early age while working on his family’s farm. His passion for hunting and the outdoors drew him to a career in real estate. He enjoys the time spent with clients showing properties and sharing his love of the outdoors. He does everything he can to ensure that he makes his clients a priority!

Mike is married to Christy McMillan Odom, who has also been involved in real estate for many years as a real estate paralegal. They reside near Madison, MS and have three children, Mary Blair, Brady, and Meredith. They enjoy family vacations at the beach, cooking on their back porch, working around their house, and weekends at their family farm in Attala County, MS. Mike has also coached travel softball for over 15 years at a competitive level and is currently coaching with the Hotshots organization based out of Conroe, TX.

During his career, Mike has learned to put the client first and make sure they are confident and comfortable with their transactions. He has learned the value of listening to the client and asking questions that will help them work together to find the property they have always dreamed of. Colby Watson

Colby’s love for the outdoors is what drew him to Tom Smith Land and Homes. Born and raised in Pearl, MS, he has had a love for the outdoors since his dad took him hunting for the first time. He attended Pearl High School and graduated in 2006. After high school, he went to Meridian Community College on a soccer scholarship. He has deep roots in the outdoors; he is a dedicated duck and deer hunter. His love for the outdoors is where he gets his passion for the land and being in nature. In 2010, he started a duck guiding business in the MS delta and ran it successfully until getting married in 2014. At that time, he formed a lawn and landscape business in Central MS as the owner and operator.

Colby, his wife Katie, and their son Bodie reside in Pearl. Their free time is spent on the water or in the woods. During the summer, they enjoy spending time at their lake house on Eagle Lake. They love being around friends and family and making memories.

Colby is excited to join the team at TSLH. He takes pride in helping people and is looking forward to assisting you in finding your dream property to create lasting memories.


Haley Hickman Belden

Haley Belden is a native of Brandon, MS. She graduated from Northwest Rankin High School and earned a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Mississippi. She taught sixth grade at Northwest Rankin Middle School in Rankin County for 12 years. Haley has been a stay-at-home mom for nine years and is excited about a career change with real estate.

Prior to obtaining her real estate license, Haley was very involved with the Rankin County School District as a parent volunteer and fundraiser. She served on the Northshore Elementary PTO board for four years as secretary and president. She was honored as “Parent of the Year” two years in a row. Haley also served on the Rankin County Bond Issue Committee for a year to help fund improvements for Rankin County Schools and build a new Northwest Rankin High School. She currently serves on the Northwest Rankin High School Softball Board and is very active with the Junior League of Jackson.

Haley and her husband, David, reside in the reservoir area of Brandon, MS. They share four children together. Alese lives in Birmingham, AL. Avery is a student at Mississippi State University. Brooks and Grace are students at Northwest Rankin High School. They all enjoy travel, sporting events, and spending time together.


Allyson Mize

Allyson was born and raised in Flora, MS. She graduated from Tri-County and Holmes Community College. She recently moved back to Madison after 17 years in Oxford, MS.

Allyson has two boys and they share a love for everything outdoors, including fishing, hunting, boating and baseball. Allyson was a stay-at-home mom for 11 years and before that she was a paralegal for 10 years. Once back in Madison she decided to focus on real estate.


Kadero Edley

Kadero Edley is from the small town of Raymond, MS, but currently resides in Grenada, MS. After high school he received scholarships to play football at MS Gulf Coast Community College followed by Belhaven University. Kadero graduated from MGCCC in 2012 and from Belhaven University with a B.S. in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science in 2015. By playing football all his life, it taught Kadero that hard work, discipline, dedication, and trust are the keys to being successful on a team.

Kadero is an avid outdoorsman that believes in scouting for that next big buck after the season should begin in the spring, and that everyone should experience the nervous tremors after hearing a mature turkey gobble thirty yards away. He’s always had a passion for anything outdoors since he was a little kid and feels a sense of peace when enjoying one of God’s greatest creations.

Helping others has been a part of his everyday life for as long as he can remember. He’s currently licensed as a physical therapist assistant and always has enjoyed helping others. So, it was only right to put his love for helping people and love for the land into real estate. His passion for the land, enthusiasm for helping others, hard work, and dedication make him a great fit to assist you with your Real Estate needs.


Danny Willoughby

Daniel Willoughby was born at a Naval hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia.  His father spent 26 years in the United States Navy.  During this time, Daniel traveled all over the world and country before his family decided to settle down in Jackson, Mississippi.  He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and was awarded the Marshall of Liberal Arts.  He worked for 12 years in the Medical Sales industry before beginning his career in Right of Way where he started his own business, Reservoir Consultants. Danny is no stranger to real estate since he has been doing real estate acquisition and relocation for 17 years.  He understands the importance of real estate and their values.

Daniel married his high school sweetheart, Amy and moved to Brandon, Mississippi. They continue to reside there with their two sons, Ian and Patrick. Daniel is an avid outdoorsman who loves hunting and fishing with his family.

Brett Carney

Brett was born and raised in Lauderdale County, MS just south of Meridian. After high school, he attended Meridian Community College for one year and then transferred to East Mississippi Community College where he completed his associates degree before transferring to Mississippi State University. Brett has deep roots in the outdoors; he is a dedicated turkey, deer and duck hunter. The love of the outdoors is where Brett gets his passion for land and is very excited to blend both of his favorite things into a career to help clients find their dream property. Clay Simmons

Clay was born and raised in the small town of Rolling Fork, in the Mississippi Delta. At the age of fourteen, his family moved to Vicksburg where he attended St Aloysius High School. Upon graduation, Clay played baseball for Hinds Community College for two years. He later graduated from Belhaven University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Clay’s career began in the healthcare industry as an organ procurement coordinator and then an oxygen administrator for a local DME provider. He spent five years as a licensed mortgage originator working with various mortgage lending organizations.  He has always been in the business of caring for people by showing compassion and patience through trying and exciting times.

After years of sitting behind a desk, Clay had the growing urge to find a new career that better fit his active lifestyle while evolving in the housing industry that he loved. Real estate was that answer! Clay’s knowledgeable experience from the mortgage industry transitioned very well into the real estate world and he is showing to have a very promising career. Clay, his wife Karolina, and son Jayce, currently reside in the Reservoir Brandon area. He and his wife are very active within the community, usually involved in running, biking, or hiking activities. Clay and Karolina can point you in the direction of the best running and biking trails in the Jackson metro area.  Oftentimes, they plan their vacations around some type of outdoor/nature activities with easy access to hiking and running trails.

David Belden

David moved to Warren County, Mississippi in 1994 and spent his high school years at St Aloysius High School in Vicksburg. After graduation, he went to Hinds Community College and then on to Belhaven University playing baseball and football. David worked in the restaurant business during college and continued for 24 years working in all aspects of the industry from management, ownership, to commercial food sales. He enjoyed meeting people and making friends from all over the world; no matter where David is he seems to run in to someone he calls a friend! His passion for the outdoors and people have lead him to a career in Real Estate.

With a long career in the service industry, David learned that nothing is more important than God and family, and to treat every person as they are part of it. David is the grandson of a Texas cattle rancher and grew up respecting the land and the wildlife on it. He learned to love the land at a young age through spending time with his father hunting and fishing. The appreciation of land, and the need to care for it, has passed thru his family for generations. David really has a calling for helping others and understands the care people deserve. David and his family are residents of Rankin County. He is married to Haley Belden, who is also an agent at Tom Smith Land and Homes. They share four amazing kids together that keep them very busy. Alese lives in Birmingham, Alabama and is currently working hard and continuing her education. Avery played soccer at Holmes Community College and is now majoring in business at Mississippi State University. Brooks and Grace are students at Northwest Rankin High School. Brooks plays football and Grace is on the softball team. Family time is very important and they all enjoy traveling, the outdoors, and sporting events together.
