I am writing in regard to the recent sale of my farm by Michael Halfacre. Specifically, I want to express my appreciation to Michael and to Tom Smith Land and Homes for the excellent result achieved on my behalf. Michael immediately went to work to answer my questions and provide well-reasoned analysis and practical advice on various issues including land, timber and recreational use valuation; allocation of sale proceeds between multiple parties, and whether to market certain tracts together or separately. Michael’s professionalism and experience were apparent at the onset as were his good character and genuine concern for my best interest.
