He attended Pearl High School and graduated in 2006. After high school, he went to Meridian Community College on a soccer scholarship. He has deep roots in the outdoors; he is a dedicated duck and deer hunter. His love for the outdoors is where he gets his passion for the land and being in nature. In 2010, he started a duck guiding business in the MS delta and ran it successfully until getting married in 2014. At that time, he formed a lawn and landscape business in Central MS as the owner and operator.
Colby, his wife Katie, and their two children Bodie and Ellie Kate reside in Pearl. Their free time is spent on the water or in the woods. During the summer, they enjoy spending time at their lake house on Eagle Lake. They love being around friends and family and making memories.
