Chance Persac

Chance Persac grew up in Canton, Mississippi, and graduated from Canton Academy. His family now resides in Madison, while he lives in Starkville attending Mississippi State University, where he is pursuing a degree in Business Administration and has also served as Rush Chairman for his fraternity chapter.

He loves spending time outdoors, especially hunting and playing golf. His faith is the most important part of his life—he strives to live for Jesus and finds confidence through Him. Chance brings character, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for people into everything he does.


Brooks Magee

Brooks Magee was raised in Flora, Mississippi, where a love for the outdoors and helping others became the foundation for both his personal life and career aspirations. A graduate of Jackson Academy, Brooks is pursuing a degree in Forestry with a minor in Economics at Mississippi State University.

Brooks is an active member of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison, Mississippi and has dedicated time to conservation work through Ducks Unlimited. He served as Chairman of the Jackson Academy High School Chapter and as Treasurer for the Mississippi State College Chapter. His deep appreciation for God’s creation has shaped his life and his pursuit of real estate.

When Brooks is not working, he can be found outdoors, especially chasing waterfowl with his family and friends. His upbringing in the Mississippi outdoors has given him a genuine understanding of the land, making him uniquely equipped to help clients find properties that match their lifestyle and dreams. Brooks approaches every transaction with integrity, dedication, and a commitment to making the buying or selling experience as smooth as possible.


Landen Rogers

Landen Rogers is a lifelong resident of Starkville, Mississippi. He graduated from Starkville Academy in 2017 and went on to earn a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from Mississippi State University. An outdoorsman from a young age, Landen followed in his father’s footsteps, developing a deep passion for the outdoors. That passion ultimately led him to Tom Smith Land and Homes. Johnny Luke

Johnny Luke is a lifelong resident of Winston County, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors and a strong connection to the land and community. He has over 25 years of experience working with the public, earning the trust and respect of his clients through dependable service and genuine care.

He attended East Central Community College and Mississippi State University. Johnny has always had a passion for helping people. Whether you’re selling property, searching for a recreational getaway, or looking for your forever home, he’s here to help with your needs every step of the way.

Mike Jackson

Mike is a native Mississippian who grew up in Ackerman. A graduate of Mississippi State University, Mike has a wide range of professional experiences that greatly benefit his clients. From working for the MS Dept. of Health as a County Environmentalist early in his career, then owning a construction company, to being an active real estate agent/investor, Mike has a unique perspective that allows him to relate well to anyone who is in the market to buy or sell, whether for an investment or for personal use. Mike and his wife Angela were married in 2019. Between them, they have 5 adult children and 6 grandchildren. Additionally, there are 9 more “grands” that call him Papa Jack, for which his is extremely proud. In his spare time, Mike enjoys traveling, barbecuing, hunting, and playing golf.


Leland Selby

Leland’s deep-rooted love for the outdoors led him to Tom Smith Land and Homes. Growing up in Leland, MS and now residing in Starkville, Mississippi, Leland’s passion for hunting and fishing remains strong. After Graduating from Indianola Academy in 2022, Leland is pursuing a Business Finance degree at Mississippi State University. His interest in real estate blossomed during a summer working at Tom Smith Land and Homes as an office assistant. Known for his honesty and strong work ethic, Leland ensures clients a positive real estate experience. With his integrity, diligence, and determination, Leland stands ready to assist you in all your real estate endeavors.


Tyler Kilgore

Tyler was born and raised in Philadelphia, MS. He currently resides in Nanih Waiya with his wife Hayden and their son William.

He has owned and operated East Mississippi Land Management, LLC since 2018. He has specialized in managing farm land and wildlife management.

Tyler has a love for land. It doesn’t matter if it’s hunting, at the river, or running a forestry mulcher to improve land quality. Walker Tranum

Walker was drawn to Tom Smith Land and Homes due to his love of the outdoors. Walker grew up in Starkville and has always lived in Sturgis, Mississippi. Walker has always enjoyed hunting and fishing since the day his father introduced him to the outdoors. Walker attended Starkville Academy and graduated in 2019. Walker also graduated from Mississippi State University in 2022, where he majored in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. Walker has worked for a private contractor building homes which piqued his interest in the real estate business. Walker currently lives in Oktibbeha County, where he continues his passion for hunting, fishing, and small building projects. When working with Walker, honesty and unmatched work ethic are what you will find from the first meeting to the last. He is determined to make sure your time, either buying or selling, is the best it can be. Walker’s honesty, work ethic, and determination will help you in all your real estate experiences.


Doyes Holland

Doyes was born and raised in Hamilton, Alabama. He obtained a B.S. in Forestry from Mississippi State University in 1975. Ten years later, he completed a Master of Forestry with emphasis in forest taxation also from Mississippi State. Doyes’ forestry career began in 1977 and continued for 40+ years, with much of his career with Weyerhaeuser Company as a Timber Buyer, Road Manager and lastly as Harvest Planner until his retirement in 2018.

Doyes and his wife Kay are long time residents of Starkville and avid MSU Bulldog fans. They have attended New Covenant Church for more than 40 years with their three children.  They currently own and operate Bops Frozen Custard in Starkville. For many years, Doyes had a small beef cattle operation in the Bell School House community where his children learned a strong work ethic and a love for the outdoors. When not at work, you may find Doyes at his tree farm in Choctaw County working on food plots or at the family’s lake house on Smith Lake in Arley, Alabama. Tom Wiseman

Tom has lived in New Albany all his life. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1985 with a BS in Forestry and is a Registered Forester and Certified General Appraiser. He retired from the Right of Way Division of the Mississippi Department of Transportation in 2014 with 29 years as a staff appraiser, review appraiser, and forester.

Tom and his wife, Veronica, are active within The First Baptist Church New Albany. Tom is an avid outdoorsman and is involved with the Trail Life USA Troop MS-356. His outdoor activities also include hunting, fishing, bicycling, and golf. With a passion for the outdoors and being raised on the land, he is the perfect choice to assist you in finding the ideal place for your family’s next home or tract of land.
