Originally from Helena, Arkansas, Callie Sellers Towles is a 1997 graduate of Desoto School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Delta State University in 2001.
Following graduation, Callie began her career with the Mississippi Business Journal in Jackson, MS, serving as Assistant to the Director of Special Events and Publications. After several years, she returned to Cleveland, MS, where she joined Delta State University’s Institutional Research department before later moving to the office of Graduate and Continuing Studies.
In 2008, Callie and her husband, Allen B. Towles, opened Cleveland Ace Hardware, a family-owned business they continue to own and operate today. The couple married in 2003 and have three children: Campbell, a sophomore at Mississippi State University; Caroline, a senior at Bayou Academy who will attend Mississippi State in the fall; and Lawson, a sophomore at Bayou Academy.
In 2014, Callie joined the administration team at Bayou Academy, where she has served in multiple roles and contributed to the growth and success of the school. In 2024, she and Allen expanded their business ventures with the opening of The UPS Store. In addition to their retail operations, the Towles family also manages investment real estate properties.
Callie’s career reflects her dedication to business, education, and community, with a strong commitment to both family and professional growth.
